"Free Money" for Funderburg Park
Our Mayor recently said that the
City had gotten “free” money in the way of a $225,000 grant for
Funderburg Park. Our question, what happened to all that other
grant money that was supposed to build walking trails, gazebos,
athletic fields, etc.? There is now a “gazebo” with a roof on it
and nothing else. We’ll be anxious to see how this additional money
will be spent—and if it will be spent on the Park. |
