The 380 By-Pass
The 380
By-Pass item was about
the right of way that County Attorney Dan Roberts had given back
without having the County receive payment for it—again in violation
of State Law. The DOT has responded that the County either get the
$$ back or get the ROW property back. Dan Roberts commented several
times that John Hancock doesn’t own the property any more. The vote
was to either get the property back or get the money back. Our
comment—if they can’t get the $$ or ROW back, then Dan Roberts
ought to have to pay it back; this was his error and his problem in
that he didn’t follow the law.
