COMMISSIONER PAYNE RESIGNS
It was announced today at the
BOC meeting that Commissioner Ronnie Payne, District 3, resigned effective
September 8, 2009. He did not attend the
BOC meeting.
Comm. Pennamon announced that
there would be a Special Election held in November to fill the now vacant
District 3 Commissioner’s seat.
If everything goes as planned, the Special Election will be held November 3, 2009.
