HOSPITAL PRESENTATION

After a presentation about what the hospital has been doing financially for the past 5 years, Comm. Bernard got to talk about his expertise in this area.  He is an authority on hospitals, but  everyone was shocked to hear him say that he and Comm. Alan Cox lived in the “more affluent districts.” He said they needed the hospital located in that area rather than where it was where people were underinsured or uninsured.  He felt the hospital could make more money in their area and it was losing money now because of where it was located.
