WATER SOURCE PLAN COMMITTEE TO MEET IN SOCIAL CIRCLE

Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 4:00PM, the “Water Source Plan Committee” will meet at the offices of Frank Sherrill of Hightower Consulting Engineers Inc. to discuss the Water Source Plan for Jasper County.  At the January 2008 meeting Brack Pound, Ken McMichael, and Mark Walton of the JCWSA board were appointed to a committee to plan for water for the next 50 years.

Frank Sherrill is the consulting engineer for the Jasper County Water & Sewer Authority (JCWSA).  Frank Sherrill was one of the presenters at the December 2003 meeting of Commissioners where he and Tommy Craig of Newton County tried to convince our Commissioners to buy into Bear Creek Reservoir.  One wonders if Frank Sherrill is still connected with Bear Creek Reservoir project.

TWG finds it interesting that with the Bear Creek Reservoir Permit being applied for again, that JCWSA has a “Water Source Committee” and will meet out of town away from the citizens of Jasper County that have shown great interest in the County water sources.

The meeting will be held at Hightower Consulting Engineers, Inc., (770) 464-2675, 973 Lakewood Dr SW, Social Circle, GA.  A map is here:
